A post-graduate degree holder in Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom, Mr Agarwal has acquired substantial experience and expertise in sustainable positioning of our Biscuit brand, HAPPY BITE, amongst the target consumers across the small cities, towns, and suburbs across the state of West Bengal. HAPPY BITE offers in its bouquet varieties of biscuits ranging from the most favourite Marie Biscuits to Glucose, Crackers, cream varieties and many more.
It is Mr. Agarwal’s dedicated initiative through continuous research on the unique flavour, taste, and packaging that HAPPY BITE has made a vibrant mark into the hearts of consumers all over the state. He also looks after the production, sales, marketing and distribution of HAPPY HEART premium edible oils and has been instrumental in promoting our MAX HEALTH brand of various food products which primarily meet the needs of the Bengali community, particularly those living outside West Bengal. This has been possible through his networking and utilisation of modern distribution system with a view to achieve enhanced sales and brand recognition by the clientele. Mr Agarwal is forging ahead with the ambitious expansion and modernisation plans of the Company in the near future.
Mr. Lahoti has been contributing substantially in the sales and marketing of our premium edible oils. He is a Chemical Engineer and happens to be in the Edible Oil sector for more than 20 years. His main priority has been to inspire the institutional buyers to adopt the healthy practice when it comes to using Vegetable Oil for producing snacks and other fried foods. Having been associated with the premium segment of edible oils industry for years, Mr. Lahoti has been successful in convincing the institutional buyers to shift focus to nutrition through usage of premium Vegetable Oil as their chief ingredient. He was earlier associated with Rasoi Limited, a renowned name in edible oil industry. He was primarily inducted into the Company to strategize on the growth policies for the sales, marketing and distribution of our Brands like Ambo Gold, Ambo Super and Happy Heart premium edible oils. He is also responsible for creating total business plans for attainment of Company’s goals and objectives in terms of business revenues. Mr. Lahoti has an in-depth knowledge of the market dynamics of edible oils, including the various wholesale and retail distribution channels at local and regional levels.
Mr. Saikat Chatterjee has been with Ambo Agritec since its inception in the year 1994 and is responsible for smooth running of the Biscuit factory operations in line with the Company’s policies, vision, and growth plans. The very fact that Biscuits are traditionally a compulsory supportive food for everyone irrespective of age or gender and keeping this in mind, the Company has encouraged preserving the nostalgic attributes of Biscuits through continuous R&D in the factory both in ingredient and process levels. Mr Chatterjee’s long stint with the organisation has enabled him to develop expertise in the overall development, performance, and maintenance of production processes to achieve the intended level of quality for all the variety of Biscuits being produced at the factory. He and his team are also quite familiar with the statutory obligations and are strictly following the practices in compliance of the prevalent laws. In addition, Mr Chatterjee is also closely involved in the Human Resource activities to enure optimum use of man-hour to achieve desired level of production each day. He has been successfully performing his duties related to maintenance and improvement of mechanism for factory production including surveying of operations, processes for smooth running of the production unit.
Mrs. Agarwal has been recently inducted into the Company as a Non-executive Director with the idea to promote the Company’s future expansions through the modern and online retail segments. Mrs. Agarwal has with her a suitable educational degree in Mass Marketing and Designing. She has already had noteworthy experience in the field of fashion & retails and is confident of contributing to the new business vertical to achieve a potential growth through her expertise and competence.
Mr. Singh has with him over 20 years of on-the-job experience in Finance & Accounts and the Company has inducted him as an Independent Director because of his proficiency and mastery of finance related matter beyond the routine income - expenditure narrative. He has been able to identify the products and segments which have the potential of bringing revenues to the overall business with a futuristic vision he is endowed with. He is also thorough in inventory management and is highly skilled in the maintenance of books of accounts along with GST and other legal compliances. The Company expects to derive immense benefits from Mr. Singh’s long experience in total accounting norms and procedures as spelt out by law in tune with the Company’s business activities.
Mr. Chattopadhyay has a vast experience of more than three decades in working with leading offshore collaborators with modern technological know-how. The Company has inducted him as an Independent Director because of his expertise in supply chain management, sourcing, domestic and overseas vendor management, logistics solutions, import and export, inventory control and other allied activities. He happens to be an effective communicator and has a flair for team-building and man-management and is a person with high integrity level when it comes to corporate ethics and systems. His experience will help the company expand its horizon to modernise trade outlets and overseas markets.
